We always see this place when we go the wonderful hardware store near by. I read the reviews on here today and decided we woud give it a try. It was an awesome experience and we will be back! The oysters were the juiciest and freshest we've had in a long time! The shucker, Jamie made us feel right home - very friendly! Ms. Anne is a sweety pie too! GENE'S Oyster Bar is a MUST for anyone visiting Panama City!

Gene's is the best on the gulf. Hands above all others anywhere around. Mr & Mrs Gene are wonderful and their oysters are the best I've ever had. They bend over backward to make you enjoy your time. It's worth the trip no matter how far you are. Can't wait to go this week. My friend doesn't like oysters and agreed they were wonderful last time we were there. Look forward to my next trip.
